Spybotics Game Download
Hi, LEGO Spybotics loaded on windows worked with all platforms up to windows XP. After laoding the application game on windows 7, 64 bit, it does not work. The software CD automatically loads Quicktime 5 as part of the game software. I loaded and deleted the installed LEGO spybotics a few times and followed along the installation of Quicktime 5. Also updated Quicktime to Quicktime 7. There are tow error messages: First one is still the same - reads ' Quicktime not installed properly.' , and second error message is that there is not enough space on hard drive, and close down all other programs and try again? This is a new laptop with windows 7 premium and has no viruses etc.

I'll surely help you. You can try changing the compatibility settings for the program, either manually or by using the Program Compatibility troubleshooter. Method 1: Make older programs run in this version of Windows Method 2: Uninstall the program and install it in Windows XP compatibility mode b) Right-click on the program and click on ‘ properties’. C) Click on the ‘ compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘ Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows XP operating system from the drop down. D) Click on ‘ Apply’ and click ‘ OK’ and run the file to install it. Do let us know if you have any other queries pertaining to Windows in the future.

Well, let's try:-) Take this file and save it to your Spybotics Installation Directory (for me this is C: Program Files (x86) LEGO Software Products Spybotics on my Windows 7 x64 machine but this may differ on yours - the Spybotics.EXE lives there as well).
To do so just right click the link above and choose 'Save Target As.' If you are using Internet Explorer DO NOT let the Browser execute the file if it requests so - just download to your hard drive. Your Windows 7 may or may not allow you to save directly to the 32 Bit (x86) leaf of the Program Files System Directory.

Eventually you may have to save the file somewhere else and copy it afterwards to it's target Location. A BAT is a simple text file which can be inspected with the normal Windows Editor (Notepad) by choosing Edit from the context menu (right mouse button on the local file). It should look exactly as on my (German) Blog entry. To run it just click on it - eventually you may have to confirm that you really want to do this because Windows knows that the file has been downloaded and is dangerous per se:-) If all works you can create a ShortCut to the file on your Desktop do allow for easy use (on the Desktop use the right mouse button on New then Shortcut).
